Mr. Simmons has been Executive Vice President Operations since November 2008.
He joined the company part-time in 1971 as a Groundman and became a full time employee in 1975.
Progressing up through positions of Lineman, Foreman, General Foreman, Area Supervisor,
Area Manager, Assistant Vice President, Central Region and Vice President of Fleet and Support,
his most recent previous position was Senior Vice President, Operations, which he earned in
2006. Mr. Simmons is a second generation Pike employee, following in the footsteps of
his father, Richard Simmons.
